During the ‘Ctrl Alt Delete’ release party (Low End Theory / March 2010), the guys from Ableton interviewed Chris Alfaro ("Free The Robots") about the Music, Life and Ableton stuff..
Last night, I finally got a chance to watch “Free The Robots” perform live at the Mission Tobacco Lounge, and was amazed with the set. The music was chest pounding even though the speakers kept blowing out (this was a house issue, not “Free The Robots”). Was it the pounding bass knocking the cables loose? Know one will ever know. All I know is that “Free The Robots” has talent!
I was amazed how hype the room got last night when “Free The Robots” hit the stage and the music started. Everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves and the energy was crazy. “Free The Robots” performed some older songs and some new songs from the next album to be released shortly. Stay tuned for details. Also, I shot some video last night of part of the set, probably about 15 minutes worth and am currently working on getting it ready to share on the web. Stay tuned for that. I would highly” recommend any and all music lovers, young and old to check out “Free The Robots” and buy some of their music. You wont be disappointed! Check them out on iTunes, just do a search for “Free The Robots.”

Here is a short video I took from the premiere at The Crosby on March 26, 2009. The event was hosted by The Crosby and Chris [from The Crosby & Free The Robots] and Don Froth mixed some dope sets with a lot of energy. I have been meaning to get to The Crosby for some time now and I am glad that I finally did. The spot has a great vibe and I agree that it is one of a kind. One of the places to go to have a good time and listen to some great music! Check out the video… It’s not much but you’ll get to see Don Froth and Chris on the mix, a bit of The Crosby and some 3V stuff:
Also, head over to the 3V website which is: www.wewillconquer.com and check out what they are all about. I digg the designs and I wish the best for them. Please show your support. I am sure you will like the clothing line and the artwork in the site is mind blowing. Check out Brad’s artist page. Some really good work! Keep it up 3V and I am here to support you guys anyway that I can!
