Nonsense of the Akronymz (www.akronymz.com) and DJ Darkside (www.djdarkside.com) came together to create Nonsense’s first solo album ‘Better Late Then Never.’ The album has a vast array of styles that are not typical for a hip-hop album. It’s a fresh new sound and taps into the likes of all music lovers from all genre’s. “I wanted to do something different and have a new sound with a new approach,” said Nonsense. And that is just what this album has, raw underground hip-hop fuzed with uptempo club dance tracks and everything between.

I am pleased to present to you a Myndframe Ent and Darkside Productionz film with some of Hip-Hop’s most creative and innovate emcee’s. The song Emerald City was produced by DJ Gabe Real. Keeping it grimmey and gritty and always holding out down for the Inland Empire, Magnificent Ruffians and 5 O’clock come together to bring you a great project, Wizards of CA. The Story!
The Magnificent Ruffians are back at it again with there first character album entitled, Wizards of CA. This time they collab with an artistic, abstract emcee by the name of Five O’ Clock. The characters are as follows, Specific as the Tin Man, Master Chief as the Cowardly Lion and Five O’ Clock as the Scarecrow. The original movie Wizard of OZ is a very significant movie because it was the first to be shown in color instead of black and white. It also has a lot of hidden messages, ideals and morals that each character brings to the table. Red ruby slippers, wicked witches, emerald city… These are all iconic themes that the original movie has became famous for. On this project, the Magnificent Ruffians and Five O’ Clock have tried to incorporate the movie into each song. They basically took a classic movie and flipped it into a raw hip-hop album. This project is unlike any one they have ever done before. It’s not for everyone but it is for anyone. Enjoy!

Bus Selection
Busses in SONAR X1 are now fully selectable and quick group-able. Additionally the following commands have been added:
- ALT+CLICK on a bus will select that bus as well as all upstream sources
- ALT+CLICK on a track will select that track as well as all downstream destinations
Independent Snap settings in the Piano Roll view
The Piano Roll view now has independent snap settings that can be used to override the global snap value.
Last Note Selected for Draw Tool
The duration of the last clicked note is now remembered when the ‘Last Selected’ item is checked in either the Control Bar or HUD. When the draw duration is set to ‘Last Selected’ the draw duration will be whatever the last note clicked on in the Staff, Piano Roll or Inline Piano Roll views.
23.976 FPS Timecode format
SONAR now supports 23.976 frames per second on the time ruler.

BEATS, RHYMES & LIFE: THE TRAVELS OF A TRIBE CALLED QUEST is a documentary film directed by Michael Rapaport about one of the most influential and groundbreaking musical groups in hip-hop history. Having released five gold and platinum selling albums within eight years, A Tribe Called Quest has been one of the most commercially successful and artistically significant musical groups in recent history, and regarded as iconic pioneers of hip hop. The band’s sudden break-up in 1998 shocked the industry and saddened the scores of fans, whose appetite for the group’s innovative musical stylings never seems to diminish.
A hard-core fan himself, Rapaport sets out on tour with A Tribe Called Quest in 2008, when they reunited to perform sold-out concerts across the country, almost ten years after the release of their last album, The Love Movement. As he travels with the band members (Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White), Rapaport captures the story of how tenuous their relationship has become; how their personal differences and unresolved conflicts continue to be a threat to their creative cohesion.
